Christopher McMahon

Program Director & Washington DC Office Director

Chris McMahon first joined the Junior Statesmen Foundation as an AP Government Professor at Stanford during the summer of 1999. Since 2000 Chris has served as the program director for both the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Junior States. Chris directed the Stanford Summer School from 2000-2004. In addition, Chris serves as the Director of the New Jersey Symposium on Leadership and Politics. Recently, Chris began serving as Director of the Washington, DC office.

Chris graduated from the University of Nevada with a double major in politics and philosophy. He completed a Master’s in Political Science at the University of Utah, and did his doctoral work at The State University of New York at Albany, where his concentration focused on law and public policy.
