Election 2008 Resources The 2008 Presidential Election is dominating the headlines. The candidates, the issues, the debates…it’s easy to get lost amongst the political chaos. JSAers are already at the forefront of the election season, ready to dive into campaigning for their favorite candidates. In light of that, the 2007-2008 National Activism Project is focused on gearing up for next November. Throughout the year, online resources will help members stay up-to-date with the latest in Decision 2008 news. Convention and chapter activities provide opportunities to investigate further the candidates and the issues.
Please use the resources on this website to keep you, your family and friends, and your fellow JSAers informed, and involved in one of the most important elections of our lifetime. Democracy is not a spectator sport. Volunteer for a campaign, read the newspaper, watch the debates, and, most importantly, VOTE (if you’re 18) and encourage your friends and family to vote as well. |
