Fall State 2008
From Promises to Policy: Making the Next Move
In the wake of a momentous presidential election, our nation will face many decisions. We live in an era of rising poverty, food and energy prices, resource depletion, human rights violations, and conflicts overseas. Our political campaigns are filled with promises of a stronger future for America. After election day, we are called to leave behind the rhetoric and take a course of definitive action amidst a deluge of campaign promises. As we are tasked with transitioning our minds from a focus on red states, blue states and running mates, to healthcare, the Iraq War, and a crippling economic crisis, what policies will solve these problems?
Join us at the Fall State 2008 Convention: "From Promises to Policy: Making the Next Move," as we explore the ideals behind our nation's values and confront our next big challenges. As catalysts of change in the present age and in the years to come, make your voice heard. Make America push past the plague of partisan politics and help us preserve the principles of democracy that have united our country for over two centuries. We must strengthen our collective voice and exercise our rights. The issues are real. The problems are many. The solutions are few. What's your next move?
