Council of Governors seeks to "Inspire. Engage. Empower."
This past Memorial Day Weekend, the nine newly-elected Governors of the Junior State of America joined together in San Mateo, CA, to discuss and prepare for the upcoming year.  They shaped a number of initiatives and plans, established a set of broad goals, and even came up with a new motto to serve as a guide to better accomplish JSA's mission.

Silicon Valley executive elected non-profit’s CEO, while 20-year JSA veteran promoted to executive director of 70-year leader in high school civic education

The Junior Statesmen Foundation, a leader in civic education for high school students since 1934, said today that it has established a new senior executive leadership team, with David Viotti having been elected Chief Executive Officer by the Foundation’s trustees and Jeff Harris having been promoted to Executive Director.
