Nor Cal JSA Hosts Bill Writing Workshop

The Northern California Junior State will host a series of workshops on how to craft good legislation in preparation for Winter Congress. The first in the series will feature Alec Arago, District Director for Congressman Sam Farr. Mr. Arago has over 10 years experience working for Mr. Farr in both his DC and California offices. The workshop is open to all students, but is geared towards JSA students whoare attending Congress and want to write great legislation. Topics to be covered include: basic formatting, simple tips and tricks to making a successful bill, possible subjects to write on and more. The workshop will be held Wednesday December 16th, 2009 at 5:30 PM at the Louden Nelson Center in Downtown Santa Cruz.
