| 7:30 a.m. | Breakfast - A great time to catch the front page headlines |
| 8:30 a.m. | U.S. Foreign Policy Class Lecture & Discussion: “The Middle East Peace Process: History, Prospects for the Future, How Does the U.S. Exert Influence?” |
| 11:30 a.m. | Lunch - Hit the salad bar then top off lunch with a trip to the soft serve ice cream machine. Head back to dorm to get dressed for the Speakers Program. Look up speakers on internet and prepare questions. (One of the speakers voted 24 times to raise taxes on the middle class!). |
| 1:00 p.m. | Speakers Program on Capitol Hill Meet in a committee room in the Dirksen Senate Building (you’ve seen this room on CSPAN!). Two Republican Senators and two Democratic Senators are speaking to us today. Also, photo opportunity with my own Senator in his office! |
| 4:00 p.m. | Free time: Stop by the University Bookstore. Catch second half of the faculty-staff basketball game before dinner. |
| 5:30 p.m. | Dinner: Meet roommate in the cafeteria. Join pickup ultimate Frisbee game on the main quad. |
| 7:00 p.m. | Congressional Workshop Debate: Tonight's topic – Resolved, that minors be required to obtain parental consent before obtaining an abortion. |
| 9:00 p.m. | Free Time - Read short essay on the “Bush Doctrine” to prepare for tomorrow’s class discussion. |
| 10:00 p.m. | Floor meeting led by the RA: Sign up for weekend trip to the new baseball park: Nationals vs Mets! Start brainstorming ideas for a floor-wide skit for the Talent Show. |
| 11:00 p.m. | Curfew - Make sure to send an email to grandparents about how great the program is and to thank them for donating some funds for my tuition. |
