| Marc S. Franklin The chief operating officer of Cal-Am Properties Inc. of Costa Mesa, Calif., Marc Franklin formerly was the senior vice president for strategic planning and development of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Newport Beach, Calif., which he was with for more than a decade. From 1987 to 1993, Franklin held various management positions at SunAmerica/Broad Inc. of Los Angeles, and previously was with Wells Fargo Bank, Midland Bank of London and Crocker National Bank. Franklin is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and has an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has attended programs at the London School of Economics and Harvard University's Graduate School of Business. Franklin is a director of the Pacific Mutual Foundation, the Pacific Mutual Political Action Committee and is a member of the American Society of Quality Control. He is a charter life underwriter, a chartered financial consultant and a fellow of the Life Management Institute. Franklin served as treasurer and president of the board of trustees of the Junior Statesmen Foundation. He resides in Newport Beach, Calif., with his wife Marcianne and two children, Michael and Jennifer. |
