Hopefully, most of my audience is watching the Iowa caucus as I write. But if you need something to take your mind off the aftermath, here’s a few JSA-themed tidbits for the New Year…
On December 15, the Cabinet of Southern California JSA held its Winter Cabinet meeting at the LAX Marriott in Los Angeles. The agenda was a mix of fun and serious events, including a white-elephant gift exchange and planning for Congress and Spring State. Now that the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is done, those Southern Californians looking for their next JSA fix won’t have very long to wait. Coming up on January 19, 2008, is a rare and special occasion: the Presidential Nominating Convention. This full-day event will feature the upcoming presidential elections, allowing JSA members to vote for their favorite candidate and ask questions of representatives from the candidates’ campaigns.
