Staff at the Junior State of America selected Nay Mintin as its first Employee of the Season for 2018. Nay joined JSA in 2017 and was described by staff as helpful, attentive, and fun to be around.
As the Student Services Coordinator for the Burlingame Office, Nay works closely with staff to provides administrative and program support. She is also the voice of JSA, responding to many phone calls from students, parents, board members, and other JSA stakeholders.
Before coming to JSA, Nay lived in Los Angeles. She moved to Northern California to attend San Jose State University. She majored in Economics and focused the majority of her time interacting with different demographics through her work as a student assistant and volunteering at non-profit organizations such as the International Rescue Committee and Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center. She was also involved with AIESEC, an international student-run organization that linked young adults to internships and volunteering opportunities abroad.
Nay was nominated by peers and earned the most votes among staff for Employee of the Season.
