School-Year Experience

2021 Ohio River Valley Virtual Fall State

November 6 - 7, 2021
Past Event

Each year, JSA's first convention of the year is guided by a theme selected by our student Council of Governors. The theme reflects perspectives, ideas, and issues that are paramount and relevant to young people in the nation. At Fall State, debate resolutions will investigate factions of society — from political parties to rural constituencies to activist movements — and aim to inspire empathy and understanding. By bringing together large groups of students with diverse opinions and perspectives, JSA young people learn how to approach problems with open-mindedness and practical solutions.

What are School-Year Experiences?

School-Year Experiences are planned and run at the state and chapter -level. These experiences include multi-day state conventions, chapter conventions, and regional events that connect the student citizens of JSA Nation.
