We will be joined by Amanda Litman who will discuss her book, "Run for Something: A Real-Talk Guide to Fixing the System Yourself." We will also speak to Amanda about how and why young people should run for office and/or become civically engaged.

About the Speaker:
Amanda Litman is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of "Run for Something," an organization dedicated to getting young people to run for office. She started her career in politics on then-Senator Barack Obama's campaign and worked for former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016 as the Email Director (the other emails, as she would say). She is the author of “Run for Something: A Real-Talk Guide to Fixing the System Yourself” where people can learn more about how to become a political candidate.
