Apply to a Summer Experience

1. Create a JSAConnect Account

All students are required to create a JSAConnect account. Students should use accurate personal information and register with their primary e­mail account.

You will be sent an email with a link to confirm your email address. Please check your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email.

If you previously created an account on MyJSA, your login credentials will work for JSAConnect, and your profile information is still saved in your account.

Forgot your password? Click ​“Forgot Password” and follow the instructions. If you are still having trouble, email tech@​jsa.​org and we will manually send a password reset link to you.

Can’t find your high school? Type ​“Not Listed” into the search box and choose your state of residence. For example, if you live in Illinois, you will choose ​“Not Listed — IL.”

2. Select a Program

Find the ​“My Activities” tab on JSAConnect. Scroll through the program options until you find the event you want to attend and click ​“Register.”

3. Personal Essay

As part of your application, you are required to write a short essay, which you can submit through JSAConnect. There is a 500-word maximum (no minimum). Our staff will review the essay before proceeding to approval.

Prompt: Please write about a political topic you care about and why.

4. Payment

Program fees must be paid in full before the program begins, or students will not be permitted to attend. Once your application is approved, The easiest and most secure way is to pay online with a credit card via JSAConnect. If necessary, you can also mail a check to JSA headquarters (find our address at the bottom of this page) or call (800) 334‑5353 to inquire about paying over the phone. 

Can’t see the invoice or payment portal? If you have an ad-blocker, make sure it is disabled for jsa​.org and the JSAConnect website.
