Fundraising for your Chapter


JSA Chapters coordinate fundraising to help their members attend conventions. This includes traditional activities like hosting bake sales and car washes, but Chapter also partners with organizations like Chipotle and other restaurants on ‘Fundraising Nights’ where a portion of the night’s proceeds benefit that JSA Chapter.

In addition, each JSA State has a state scholarship fund for which members seek donations. These donations can come from family, friends, and businesses. On average, JSA States have collectively raised more than $100,000 each year to help provide scholarships for new Chapters and financially needy members to attend conventions and participate in JSA activities.

Chapter Fundraising Webinar

Learn how to plan easy and successful chapter fundraisers! Walk through the steps of planning different fundraisers for your chapter with JSA staff and National Director of Fundraising. Attendees will also have an opportunity to share fundraising ideas that have been effective. This webinar is open to any student and chapter presidents should encourage their chapter cabinet, specifically the directors of Fundraising, to participate. Questions are strongly encouraged.
